Istituto Superiore Mario Boella (ISMB)
Istituto Superiore Mario Boella (ISMB) is a research & innovation center operating in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) domain. Founded in 2000 by Compagnia di San Paolo and Politecnico di Torino, today ISMB relies on the technological and process competences of around 150 researchers working in close cooperation with companies, academia and Public Administration.
GeoVille
GeoVille is an internationally operating company providing consultancy, services and products related to remote sensing, geo-information and geographic information systems. GeoVille’s mission is to offer turnkey solutions for efficient Earth Observation (EO) and spatial data management and analysis. At present, GeoVille is employing a staff of more than 100 experts and consultants graduated in Earth sciences and informatics in its research and production facility in Austria, Innsbruck.

EOXPLORE UG specialises in massive geospatial data processing and information extraction. EOXPLORE is a provider of technical consulting and services to transform customer data into advantageous information and knowledge. Terranea is a German SME offering geoinformation services and environmental consulting. Based on a wide scientific and technical expertise, the company offers creative and innovative solutions in the areas of development, environment, and crisis management. Open data policies, social media, new low cost sensors and satellites offer a variety and large amounts of data. However, it is challenging for non-experts to identify the right sources and the right quality for obtaining relevant information for political, administrative, or business processes. Terranea is specialised in giving advice in finding the right data, processing it, and turning it into innovative information products.

ALPHA Consultants (UK) Ltd (ALPHA) is a newly formed UK consultancy, affiliated to ALPHA Consultants srl, a leading Italian strategy consultancy specialized on management consulting services in various industries (e.g., Aerospace, Transportation, Medical devices, High tech, Telecommunications, Emergency management).
UNESCO
The United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations within its overarching objectives of building of peace, eradication of poverty, sustainable development and intercultural dialogue through education, sciences, culture, communication and information. UNESCO operates at the interface between natural and social sciences, education, culture and communication playing a vital role in constructing a global culture of resilient communities. UNESCO assists countries to build their capacities in managing disaster and climate risk and with their ability to cope with disasters.
Politecnico di Torino
Politecnico di Torino is a public university offering degrees in Engineering and Architecture, with an outstanding international reputation in technical and scientific teaching and research. It is a research university interested in the balanced development of both theoretical and applied research. Thanks to the participation in many international projects, Politecnico di Torino exhibits a significant experience in both scientific and administrative project management.

CELI is a company founded in May 1999 by researchers and engineers, previously working in the research sector. CELI provides solutions that integrate innovative technologies for natural language comprehension and text analysis and its main goal consists in bringing the results of the most advanced research activities in the Human Language Technology and Artificial Intelligence fields into products and solutions for the enterprise.
JoinPad
JoinPad develops and distributes software solutions including the related consultancy aimed at simplifying the customer’s industral business processes providing innovative tools to interact with the industrial environment. For the first time in history, a wearable augmented reality solution ( smart glasses) was presented by JoinPad in Las Vegas, US, in 2011, that takes advantage of computer vision algorithms for diagnostics and maintenance of industrial equipment.
Finnish Meteorogical Institute
The Finnish Meteorological Institute is a research and service agency under the Ministry of Transport and Communications. FMI performs advanced scientific research and provides a wide variety of information services relating to weather, climate, marine and air quality. The Institute has more than 600 employees, about half working in research.

Meteosim SL (MET), is a technological consulting SME that –through highly reliable meteorological forecasts- provides advanced numerical solutions to sectors and industries whose activities are weather-sensitive. Established in 2003 and located at the Barcelona Science Park (Barcelona, Spain), MET’s main asset is the application of scientific knowledge, which provides valuable solutions to our clients on the basis of research and development with mesoscale and microscale weather forecast models.
Bitgear
Bitgear Wireless Design Services is an innovative Serbian enterprise founded in 2007. Company is a leader in electronics, specializing in embedded software, hardware design, DSP, digital communication, firmware design, inertial navigation, and motion sensing systems based on MEMS. In doing so, Bitgear builds on its own Intellectual Property in the mentioned fields.
AnsuR
AnsuR Technologies AS is a Norwegian SME,with offices in Olso and Barcelona, founded 2005, specializing in interactive visual communications solutions for mission-critical operations, and applications to UAV, satellite and security operations. The companies main technology allows users to communicate operationally relevant content from specifically imaging sensors in highest precision, with a fraction of the bandwidth and cost requirements otherwise needed to send all observations in full precision.
Fondazione Bruno Kessler
The Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) is located in Trentino, a province in Northern Italy governed by a special autonomy statute. FBK, with more than 350 researchers, promotes research in the areas of Information Technology (FBK-ICT), Materials and Microsystems (FBK-MM), and Social Sciences, with primary activities on advanced computer science, microelectronics, physics, materials and sensors development.
Technical University of Wien
The Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) was founded in 1815 as “k. k. polytechnisches Institut“, making it the first University of Technology of today’s German-speaking area. TU Wien staff comprises about 140 professors, 3300 scientific staff and 1300 non-scientific staff. Over 28000 students are enrolled. With its eight faculties – mathematics and geo-information, physics, technical chemistry, informatics, civil engineering, architecture and regional planning, mechanical engineering and business science, electrical engineering and information technology – TU Wien covers the classic engineering disciplines.

Scienseed is a science communication agency based in Madrid, Spain. The company specializes in the development of communication strategies to maximize the impact of science in the general public and other relevant sectors, using video, graphic design and animation, videogames, social media campaigns, public engagement and training activities. Since 2014 Scienseed has been working with research institutions and innovative companies to make their science visible, both through one-time collaborations or as part of European projects.
CSI Piemonte
CSI-Piemonte (Consortium for Information Systems), is a large ICT organization founded in 1977 by the regional administration of ‘Piemonte’, the Torino Municipality and the two universities of Torino; it is specialized in ICT projects and services for the public administration sector with more than 36 years of experience, about 140 M€ turnover, more than 1100 employees and 110 shareholders among the Piedmont Region Public Administrations.
